The Story Maria, an inner-city narc investigator has been kidnapped by an infamous street gang called the Dark Syndicate lead by the ruthless drug lord Carlos. She disappeared after months of undercover work trying to infiltrate their organisation. Tommy, her boyfriend arrived at the scene of the kidnap just in time forcing him to hit the streets for an all-out rescue attempt. Assume the role of Tommy and utilise his aresenal of fighting abilities to rescue Maria from sudden death at the clutches of the Dark Syndicate.

Game Information This game was created for the 2003 The Game Creators Retro-Remake Competition and inspired by popular 2D side-scrolling beat 'em' ups of the 90's like the Double Dragon and Streets of Rage series. It was completed after about a month of intense coding and went on to take 9th place out of 95 individual entries. The game features 4 stages including the Streets, the Airport, the Jungle and finally the Factory with each level having a classic end of stage boss. Tommy, the main character has several moves for you to use ranging from the basic punches and kicks to super moves like tornado kicks and twister punches. Like that is not enough the stages are also littered with weapons you can use to take down your opponents. The in-game soundtrack is also sampled from popular old-school games like Streets of Rage and Super Double Dragon.
