The Premise
Most probably the last game i will ever create on this planet we like to call earth. Rather than dedicate the rest of my life to making games i've decided to dedicate this game in particular to my life. I see so many games out there and i just can't help but think of ways to improove on them, but making games based on the improvement of others is exactly what many people in the industry are already doing albeit more standard and less innovative improvements.

I have got some cool new ideas but rather than make single games based on individual ideas i've decided to create a world in which all my ideas can manifest. For the past couple of months i've been doing research into possible components of the game and let's just say that i'm nowhere near half way. Don't expect anything solid anytime soon.

I've been looking into this new Episodic game developement model and it seems to fit this game idea perfectly. Being an indie game developer, i can't afford to spend loads of time creating the next blockbuster game but i can work on smaller scale episodes.

26.10.2006 - Concept Changes
I've decided to create a world called NeoEarth in which all my stories including Silver Epsilon will take place. Using NeoEarth as a basis i can then erect the mythology through a series of short stories/episodes and feature-length games. Not to give much of the game away but NeoEarth is set in a post-apocalyptic future of an alternate reality Earth much like this one.

01.06.2006 - The Game Score
I've started messing around with tunes for the game. I've reached a certain crossroad where i just can't rip any-old music track and whack it in the game, the music has to be inspired directly by the game and have a unique feel to it. Hence i've begun my long campaign into the wonderfull world of music composition. You can check out some of my efforts in the music section of the website.

06.03.2006 - The Official Logo
The logo you see at the top of this page will be the offical game logo. The other one seemed kind of plain, almost like it was missing something to spice it up a bit. The shape of the logo will hopefully remain the same but the colour scheme might change with time. I'm not going to delve into the symbol and its meaning at this point in time but if you do find it out then you might have a clue on what this game will be about.

22.11.2005 - Research & Developement
Still thinking of a logo. Still working on the story, characters, game theme and locations. I got a lot of concept art down but nothing final. Also researching into different gameplay styles and mechanics. A talk at my University (more info on my blog) got me thinking more on gender inclusive game design, how games should be made more inclusive not only to expand the games demographic but potentially increase market share as well.
