07|11|2007 - No Network in the Jungle For those of you that noticed, I went missing for a while. I just got back from a mandatory 3 week orientation camp program here in the urban jungles of Lagos, Nigeria. The program started on the 15th October and ended on the 5th of November and I’ve been recuperating ever since. Although I could get a weak signal on my mobile phone out there, there was no hope for internet access so Ladies and Gentlemen this is the first time I’ve touched a computer in just under a month. Please, save your applause, surprisingly I welcomed the break from my keyboard but now I can barely remember how to type, let alone code! 01|04|2007 - Nvidia & TGC Competition Results After weeks of waiting in anticipation, the competition results are finally out. We came in 3rd place with pretty decent reviews and won an SLi motherboard and two 7950 GX2 cards for our efforts. All in all it was a really good competition and a lot of the entries were great, especially those that placed ahead of us. You can check out the review and a link to a YouTube video of the game in action on the TGC Issue 51 Newsletter. Once TGC releases the demo for public download we'll be sure to provide a link to it from this site, but for now, it's back to working on completing the final game.

11|12|2006 - Nvidia Game Development Competition Over at The Game Creators website the guys behind Dark Basic Professional are hosting a game development competition sponsored by Nvidia. They got some cool prizes up for grab and we plan on entering our game; Call of the Dragon. Even though we started it way before the competition was announced, we've done almost the same amount of work in the past few weeks as we had since we started, and all just so we can make the February 2007 deadline. 02|06|2006 - Academic Freeman You know something, we both breathe in the same air but for some reason it smells a lot sweeter to me today. You want to know why that is? Is that a yes i hear? Well i'll tell you why that is, it's because yesterday i just completed the final exam of my entire academic life. Yes that's right, no more exams, coursework, late night revision, boring courses etc. I am going to miss the student life though but hey, life goes on. Now i have to get off my ass and start looking for a job to join the working class.

16|11|2005 - Online Renaissance Well i guess it was high time i flipped this site around 360 degrees to catchup with the changing times. Ironically this site is a lot more basic that my previous ones because it was developed using plain old HTML and a little bit of Java Script. I actually made it from scratch using notepad rather than Dreamwever or some other flashy software. I'm sure some people may hate this layout but this time around i was going for simplicity, i'm too tired of complexity so get used to it, its gonna be here for a while!
