Game Information Call of the dragon is the brain child of Jezrun Bowman, a very good friend of mine and fellow games developer. Together over the course of a few years, we set out to bring his baby to life and at this point, i can proudly say we have accomplished just that. The game is an old-school brawler that takes an innovative twist on the side scrolling beat 'em' ups of yesteryears. It took us almost 3 years of to develope Call of the Dragon and we enjoyed every minute of it and we would hate to deny anyone from experiencing the fruits of our labour. Don't forget to let us know what you think! 13/10/2006 - Demo Considerations Ever since i graduated from university i've had a lot more free time on my hands and what better to spend that free time on than working on Call of the Dragon? We've been hard at work trying to make significant progress with the game and we have, enough so that we feel the need to put a demo in the pipeline to give you a taste of things to come, watch this space carefully! In terms of progress at this point we're working extensively on the enemy A.I. and refining the core combat gameplay, afterall it's the most important aspect of the game so we have to get it right! Check out the updated screenshots below. 13/01/2006 - Slowly Picking Up Speed Ok, i've decided to dedicate my weekends to this game and this game alone. Even though i got university coursework to complete, a final year group project to get back on track, and a job to find before my final year runs out, i'll have to manage my time and get uni work done during the weekdays. As for COD, i've been updating the animations with the new ones supplied by Jez. Both the main protagonist and antagonists have nearly 100 animations each. I've also been working on minor things like character shadows, lifebars and sounds, you'd be amazed how much sound adds to the depth of the game. 22/11/2005 - Temporary Suspension Game developement has been temporarily suspended for reasons beyond my control. I'm finding myself constantly caught up in way too much University work, that along with looking for a fulltime job. Production will however resume as soon as possible.

Call of the Dragon - Official Demo Here it is, the official Call of the Dragon demo. Just extract the ZIP file and run the game from the MNU.exe program file.
