The Philosophy
I've been into digital entertainment development for some time now. I picked up music when i was pretty young on the piano, made a couple of bad
no-budget movies here and there but out of all these forms of expressions i always had a soft spot for computer games. Ever since i was exposed to
them at the tender age of 5 i've been completely fascinated. I look upon them as the ultimate means through which you can let your creativity flow
and bring your ideas to life. Modern day games combine all aspects of digital entertainment including movie-like stories and scenarios, vocal and
instrumental soundtracks, state of the art graphics all combined in harmony to form what can only be considered as works of art. I just gotta get a
piece of that!
At first i thought games where made by God's amongst men. I was about 10 at the time and living in Nigeria having previosuly spent 4 years in the
UK where i got my initial exposure. In a way i wish i never figured out how to make them 'cus it changed my whole perspective on playing games. As
i grew older and found out how games were made my enthusiasm shifted from playing them to more on making them.
Let me fill you in on the enthusiasm of a little boy, a boy that would play every single game he came across to death be it a demo or full
application, a boy that would play a long demo stage of Commandos with saves disabled again and again until he completed it, a boy that would keep
playing the unforgiving Hitman day and night till the game was beaten. But now that boy has grown up, his enthusiasm curbed and can only be
rekindled by something new, something fresh, something innovative... let's just say he's still searching.
